Biography
Dr R Subasree is Professor of Neurology at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience in stroke, CVT, dementia, cognitive disorders, neurorehabilitation and emerging Brain computer Interface neurotechnologies for past 14 years. A Fulbright Nehru Fellow at the University of Houston, she has pursued pioneering work in non-invasive brain–computer interfaces (BCI) for stroke rehabilitation.
Her research integrates BCI, EEG, robotics, neuroimaging, machine learning, and digital technologies to develop innovative, clinically relevant approaches to neurological disorders especially stroke and dementia. She has led and collaborated on several nationally funded multidisciplinary projects, resulting in substantial peer-reviewed publications and academic contributions. She is actively involved in postgraduate and doctoral mentorship and international academic collaborations.She has more than 100 publications and has delivered academic talks in more than 90 forums.
